Kidney Update

For all those of you following the kidney saga, you can finally sigh collectively. Tyler is just fine according to the urologist. He thinks Tyler will outgrow this problem and that we won't need any type of surgery or medicine. He wants to see little Ty again in 3 months but told me not to worry anymore. Yay!

On another related note, taking Tyler to the doctor is a huge pain. I'm glad we're done with all the specialists he had to see. He always screams his head off and poops and pees all over the exam table. It's never fun.

Here is a picture of him basking in the rare sun we had this week. It was a good 75 degrees in our living room and he was loving every minute of it. He is finally starting to get some fat on his little body--look at those legs!

Note: I think he is practicing to be an archer.

I've also found a solution to his wanting me to hold him 100% of the time. We got a swing! He loves it and it allows me to get some work done during the day. :) Things are looking up!

My friend is giving me a swing. She said it is very small and easy to fold up and store...cool. He is looking so much older already.

That is so nice you can relax, and hopefully for much longer than the three months.

I'm getting business cards with a headshot on them... which one do you like better for a professional business card?

HIJACK

This post is not coming to you VIA Jennifer. This is her husband, Erik. I decided to hijack her blog (ah...the things you can do when in possession of another's password) and tell her how I feel about her. This will probably not be posted for long, I am sure as soon as she sees it she will remove it. HERE GOES! Jennifer, my dear, I love you oh so very much. On Monday is our 1 year anniversary! A whole year! That may not seem like much, but my oh my it has flown by quickly. Since you are a relative young'un that year actually represents around 4.76% of your entire lifespan(thus far). I still keep my eye out for things that represent 'US'. Who can forget the 'EJ' Truck? I have never stopped looking for, nor noting 28s as they pop up all over the place. I notice all of the little things you do. I notice the little faces you make. I notice the little noises you make. I notice the slight shifting of your posture in response to my incessant joking. This face was made...

One Month Old

Tyler turned one month old on Friday! He has grown and changed a lot just in the last couple of weeks. It is so much fun to watch him now that he is smiling and holding his head all the way up and clasping his hands together--interlaced as if in prayer. He is the cutest baby (ok, so I'm biased). We've had a hard week though (make that almost two weeks--I've been trying to publish this post for 5 days). The other day he screamed for almost 24 hours straight. Luckily Jaime came over to show me how to help relieve his gas and he calmed down for a couple of hours. He has been up all night, up all day and just kind of hard to deal with. Of course I still love him, which is weird. Usually its hard to love someone who deprives you of sleep. :) Update: Like I said, I have been trying to publish this for almost a week--I have had literally no time between work and a screaming baby and laundry and dishes and cooking and cleaning but alas I think I now have 5 minutes! Anyway, Ty...
