First time sitting up

I know I just posted 5 minutes ago, but a lot happened this weekend. So scroll down for the other post from today too.

So as you know it was hotter than hot yesterday (Saturday). It was actually cooler in the shade outside than it was in our house (except in our air-conditioned bedroom, but who wants to sit in the bedroom all day?) So Erik was going to trim the hedges and Tyler and I believe it or not had never had a "picnic" outside before. So we grabbed the big quilt Dane's mom (Dane was Sarah's boyfriend) made for us and headed out front.

We had so much fun! Tyler loved watching Daddy do the yard work and watching the clouds go by in the sky. Then we decided to practice sitting up and what do you know but he sat up all by himself for the first time! My little superstar!!!

I was totally surprised...I had no idea he could do it!

I think he was a little surprised too.

Then, he got a little tired of sitting up...

And I'm really not sure what this face was about...but it was certainly adorable enough for the blog.

Escrow

Well we found the perfect house for us on Thursday! We put the offer on today and they accepted! We expect to close the third week of March! I knew it was the right one as soon as I walked in the door. The picture below shows half the house, you can't see the whole thing on Google Earth because of the trees. It's been updated really well, but it has a few things we can still do to get more value out of it when we sell it in a few years. It's totally cute on the inside, just under 2000 square feet and has a great yard and deck. It came with some nice perks too, so we're really excited. I'll have a nice big housewarming party so you can all see it in April once we're settled in! Yay! Ok so the sad part is, we won't be in the Dash Point Ward anymore. :( We'll be in the Federal Way ward so we're still in the stake at least.
