Happy 1st Birthday Tyler

I can't believe it's been a year already! My beautiful, amazing, smart, funny, perfect little boy turned one year old today! We celebrated our heads off today! Erik made a red velvet cake from scratch with homemade butter cream frosting and cupcakes for our guests. We had a party with Blake, Adam, Lexi, Addy, and Izzy. Tyler got spoiled with lots of great presents from all his friends. We had a great time! Tyler loved eating his very own cake! He actually didn't get as messy as I'd expected but he sure enjoyed it. After Tyler's party, we gave him a bath and went to get portraits taken at Sears. They actually didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped but they were ok and we purchased quite a few of them. First Haircut - Ever!

Hi everone! Here is a picture of me before my very first haircut yesterday in honor of my first birthday which is tomorrow! Mommy told the lady to just use scissors and trim it up a bit, but before we knew it, the clippers were already a-buzzin' on my head. I didn't mind though. I think a fade is a cool look. I was pretty happy with the whole process, as long as I had a cracker in my mouth. Maybe the haircut lady wants a bite? Before: After: (Drumroll, please...) Mommy got to save my very beautiful hair in a little baggy with a certificate that says I got my first haircut. This is all very important for scrapbooking. See you soon--I'll be the one in the little man outfit with the little man haircut and one candle on my birthday cake!

Well we found the perfect house for us on Thursday! We put the offer on today and they accepted! We expect to close the third week of March! I knew it was the right one as soon as I walked in the door. The picture below shows half the house, you can't see the whole thing on Google Earth because of the trees. It's been updated really well, but it has a few things we can still do to get more value out of it when we sell it in a few years. It's totally cute on the inside, just under 2000 square feet and has a great yard and deck. It came with some nice perks too, so we're really excited. I'll have a nice big housewarming party so you can all see it in April once we're settled in! Yay! Ok so the sad part is, we won't be in the Dash Point Ward anymore. :( We'll be in the Federal Way ward so we're still in the stake at least. It's really sad because I totally love our ward, it's awesome and I love my calling with the Young Women but at least I w...
