Stuff

If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?
Sushi. I could totally live on that stuff.
If you were an animal, what would you be and why?
Humans are animals.
What is one goal you’d like to accomplish during your lifetime?
I'd like to be the only person who takes care of my child(ren) during the day instead of paying someone else to do it.
When you were little, who was your favorite super hero and why?
Batman because he has a cool car.

Any good LDS wife and mother (so all my friends are my heroes for sure)
What’s your favorite thing to do in the summer?
Vacation in a sunny place like San Diego and swim
If they made a movie of your life, what would it be about and which actor would you want to play you?
It would be awesome. And edge-of-your-seat-action-packed. They'd probably want Rachel Bilson from The OC.
If you were an ice cream flavor, which one would you be and why?
Mint Chocolate Chip. Cool with a surprise.
What’s your favorite cartoon character, and why?

The Bahamas. Perfect beaches.
What’s the ideal dream job for you?
Being a mom.
Are you a morning or night person?
Neither. I like to sleep in and I like to go to bed early.
What are your favorite hobbies?
Reading, playing video games, working out, cooking, cleaning, gardening, decorating.
What are your pet peeves or interesting things about you that you dislike?
I don't like dogs dressed as humans. Or movies about dogs that talk. Also people who leave their Christmas lights up past January, not to mention those who turn them on every night in March!
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?
Octopus, escargo, eel. All good.
Name one of your favorite things about someone in your family.
I love how happy my sister was.
Tell us about a unique or quirky habit of yours.
"I love you" has to be the last thing I say to Erik or hear him say to me before I fall asleep.
If you had to describe yourself using three words, it would be…
Complicated. Passionate. Responsible. Weird, that spells CPR.
If I could be anybody besides myself, I would be…
Rachel Bilson from The OC.
If you were a comic strip character, who would you be and why?
Garfield because I love lasagna and naps.
What thought or message would you want to put in a fortune cookie?
"Do you really believe what happens in your life comes down to a computer generated message in a tasteless cookie?"
If you had to give up a favorite food, which would be the most difficult to give up?
Sushi.
What is one food you’d never want to taste again?
Broccoli.
If you won the lottery what would you do with the money?
Invest it and live on the interest.

The second coming.

Invisible woman. She can spy on anyone.
Mount Rushmore honors four U.S. presidents: Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt. If you could add any person to Mount Rushmore, who would you add and why?
Alex Trebek. That guy knows everything.
What award would you love to win and for what achievement?
The Harper Avery award from Grey's Anatomy for being an awesome surgeon.
If you could transport yourself anywhere instantly, where would you go and why?
California to see my mom.

Manatees are awesome. They are super cute.
What is one item that you really should throw away, but probably never will?
Size 2 jeans.
Growing up, what were your favorite toys to play with as a child?
Not barbies. That's for sure.

I'm getting business cards with a headshot on them... which one do you like better for a professional business card?

HIJACK

This post is not coming to you VIA Jennifer. This is her husband, Erik. I decided to hijack her blog (ah...the things you can do when in possession of another's password) and tell her how I feel about her. This will probably not be posted for long, I am sure as soon as she sees it she will remove it. HERE GOES! Jennifer, my dear, I love you oh so very much. On Monday is our 1 year anniversary! A whole year! That may not seem like much, but my oh my it has flown by quickly. Since you are a relative young'un that year actually represents around 4.76% of your entire lifespan(thus far). I still keep my eye out for things that represent 'US'. Who can forget the 'EJ' Truck? I have never stopped looking for, nor noting 28s as they pop up all over the place. I notice all of the little things you do. I notice the little faces you make. I notice the little noises you make. I notice the slight shifting of your posture in response to my incessant joking. This face was made...

One Month Old

Tyler turned one month old on Friday! He has grown and changed a lot just in the last couple of weeks. It is so much fun to watch him now that he is smiling and holding his head all the way up and clasping his hands together--interlaced as if in prayer. He is the cutest baby (ok, so I'm biased). We've had a hard week though (make that almost two weeks--I've been trying to publish this post for 5 days). The other day he screamed for almost 24 hours straight. Luckily Jaime came over to show me how to help relieve his gas and he calmed down for a couple of hours. He has been up all night, up all day and just kind of hard to deal with. Of course I still love him, which is weird. Usually its hard to love someone who deprives you of sleep. :) Update: Like I said, I have been trying to publish this for almost a week--I have had literally no time between work and a screaming baby and laundry and dishes and cooking and cleaning but alas I think I now have 5 minutes! Anyway, Ty...
